Donations and Contributions to Missouri Girls Town

To achieve our goal, we need the help of supporters like you. Girls Town works 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to help our residents overcome the trauma they have suffered and return to a normal life. Although we receive some reimbursement from the state of Missouri, we still rely on our supporters to help improve the quality of life for the girls here.

There are several ways that you can get involved and help Missouri Girls Town reach our goals.

» Print and fill out a copy of our donation form and send it with a check payable to "Missouri Girls Town Foundation, Inc." to: Missouri Girls Town P.O. Box 59 Kingdom City, MO 65262   Donation Form (pdf)

Use your credit card to make a donation online. Just use the link below to go to our PayPal online donation page. It's quick, it's easy, and it's absolutely secure.  You do not need to be a PayPal account member to make a donation in this manner.   For credit card payments, simply select your donation amount in the space provided, select update  total, then click on "continue" adjacent to "Don't have a PayPal account?"  PayPal members can log in and make donations from their existing accounts.
» Girls Town is always in need of new or gently used items such as clothing, blankets, kitchen supplies, bathroom toiletries (such as soap, shampoo, hair care products, etc.), and much, much more. You can drop them off with us, or arrange to have someone pick them up if you’d like to donate.

» Perhaps consider a generous gift of highly appreciated property. For example, if you donate stocks held for more than 12 months to Girls Town, you can avoid capital gains tax and receive an income tax deduction for the full value of the stock when the gift is made. Stocks, bonds, real estate, vehicles, and many more items are excellent for this kind of donation.

» Remember Girls Town in your estate plans. One of the easiest ways to help is to make a bequest in your will or living trust to Missouri Girls Town. Bequests can be made in the form of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of the overall estate, the residue of the estate after everything else has been paid, or a portion of the residue. Similarly, you can give donations in memory of or in honor of a loved one. Honorariums and memorials are printed in our newsletter

» Donations to Missouri Girls Town and its Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) may be eligible for a 70% credit against taxes owed to the State of Missouri when credits are available. This tax credit is in addition to any normal federal or state tax deductions. The NAP Tax Credit Program allows a donor to give cash, stocks, bonds, securities and real property to Missouri Girls Town. In return, the donor gets half of the value of the donation back in the form of a Missouri State Tax Credit.
