Girls Town's newest of four residences opened in 1998 as the home for older clients -- juniors and seniors in high school -- who are beginning the transition to indepenent life

Hope House

Girls Town's first residential house was built when Girls Town moved to its current location from Mountain Grove, Missouri, in 1981. Hope House is now being used as the high security “level 4” house.

Oliver-Hook House

Built in 1990, Oliver-Hook is home to the younger residents, usually between ages 8-16.

Gerbes House

This house, built in 1984, also serves as a residence building for our girls.

McDonough Hall

The two administrative buildings on the Girls Town Campus, McDonough Hall and the Pott Pavilion (seen right) serve as offices for counseling, personnel, fundraising, and accounting. McDonough also offers a library, chapel and infirmary for our residents.

Herman T. Pott Pavillion

Serves as an office building.

Scallorns Recreation Center

Completed in the summer of 1999, the new 11,000-square-foot recreation center contains a gymnasium, arts and crafts room, exercise room, game room, client lounge, and office space for Girls Town's recreational therapists.

Wirts Dining Center

Completed in 1996, Girls Town's dining hall serves lunch and dinner to clients and staff during the weekdays and often functions as space for talent shows, theatrical performances, and special meals during Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Lindsey Vinton Rickey School

Missouri Girls Town's on-site school, which was completed in 2002, is now a branch school of the North Callaway School District. While some MGT students attend classes off-campus at the public school, many will stay on-campus. These on-campus students will still retain the benefits of teachers, learning materials, and curricula provided by the school district.

Mudd Cottage

The Mudd Cottage has served many purposes over the years. From a residence for our off-duty house parents staff to our maternity care house. Currently, it is set up to be used as a transitional house for our residents who are preparing to move off campus.
